When the Roland Park Company completed the sale of development lots in Guilford and discontinued operations all of its rights and powers were assigned to the Guilford Association, Inc. Thus the Association assumed responsibility for carrying out the obligations set forth in the Deed and Agreement, assuming and exercising all authorities, titles and easements reserved for the Roland Park Company. Through extensions of the agreement these powers continue to be vested today in the Association.
The Association works to preserve the unique quality of Guilford and to benefit its residents. It is governed by a Board of Managers elected by members of the Association. The board operates and carries out its affairs largely through functional committees chaired by volunteer board members.
