Sherwood Gardens Summer Flowers
Since the 1990’s through the support of volunteers and donor friends of Sherwood Gardens, the beds where tulips bloom in the spring have been filled with thousands of annuals that flower throughout the summer. Each year over 10,000 people visit Sherwood Gardens, many of whom are residents of Guilford and its surrounding neighborhoods, but we also have visiting Garden Clubs and tourists from around the country.
In 2016 the beds will be planted by participating landscapers and individuals who adopt-a-plot following our annual tulip dig on Memorial Day weekend. The summer flower beds will remain in place for your viewing pleasure until early October.
